The Glittering World Collection is inspired by the traditional elements of Navajo and Hopi culture—from our songs, the roles of males and females, to clan holders. The intertwined elements of nature represent beauty and include delicate animals such as butterflies, dragonflies, hummingbirds, as well as flowers and plants. Meaningful gifts like agriculture and livestock are woven into our lives. Every design has a story: it may be a verse from a song, a prayer, our daughters’ Hopi names, or an homage to our paternal aunts and godparents. Wearing our designs is a prayer in itself. The modern fashion pairs perfectly with the symbolism of the past, representing the relationship between tradition and the progression of the Glittering World.
